The nuclear power station in Brokdorfwas started up in October 1986.

The then owners were PreussenElekrta and HEW. The planning already started in 1976.

 

Since 2010 the owners are EO.N (80%) and Vattenfall (20%)

 

It has a pressurised water reactor with Uranium dioxide – fuel elements.

 

It has a thermal power of 3.900 MW and an electric power of 1.410 MW.

In 2015 it had a power generation of 11.181 GWh

It’s one of the most powerful ones in Germany.

It’s going to be closed down at the latest at 31.12.2021.
